Kara Velazquez, owner of Urban, has always been attracted to high-end furniture designs and styles. In 2004, while searching for furniture and goods for her family home, she challenged herself to create the same high-end look with found and repurposed items.

For over a decade now, Kara’s passion and design style have resulted in a successful business. While her business model, style and abilities have evolved throughout the years, her mission remains the same – to find and repurpose furniture and goods that people will love.
